(Soo... I decided we needed a little more action since no one ever comes on XD)




Payton walked outside of the protected barrier of her coven's manor.

What am I supposed to be looking for? She asked herself.

"Me." Came a voice from behind her.

"Who was that?" She spun around and looked for the voice. Nothing behind her but the manor and a shrub. She looked quizically at the shrub. "I know you just didn't talk, did you?"

"No. It was me?" Out of no where a faint outline of a person appreared. "Mom?" She asked in disbelief. "Of course sweety who did you think?"

"I honestly don't know. Why are you visiting me? Why not Parker or Preston?" She asked her mother.

"Because you are the only one who understands, the only one who really knows."

"Can you stop with the kryptic talk? I need to know." With her protest the ghost smirked and took a step forward. Before her eyes her mother's outline filled in, she looked younger, much younger then when Payton was born. "What happened to you?" She looked at her mother up and down, her hait unusually red.

"Dying, it does this to a girl."

"But mom! You look, young, my age!" She gasped in amazment.

"I know." She put her hands in the air and then placed them on her hips. "I was sent to help you, your dad and I watch over you. Although he looks much older then I am, I guess the elder's sent me back down looking how I did when I was a new full witch." She replied.

"You had red hair?" Payton asked.

"Yes, but that's not the point." Her mother asked.

"Then what is?" Payton asked a little bit testily.

"Now don't you talk like that, I'm your mother!" She told her sternly. Just as she finished her sentence an old man wheeled on the sidewalk and looked towards the manor. His eyes showing disbelief.

"Paige?" He choked out.

"Uh oh." Came a reply from her mom. "We need to go inside, now." She told her daughter then looked at the old man. "Paige? She died a long time ago sorry, I am her daughter!" She called down.

"No, no! Paige! It's me, Glen!" He coughed.

"Glen?" Paige looked down. "Oh my you've aged! How's the wife?"

"Dead."

"Sorry to hear, but me and my er.. friend need to go inside, now!" She turned around and shoved Payton infront of her. "Go, go, go!" She told her and shut the door behind her.

"Mom! Who was that?" She giggled.

"Uh, old boyfriend, not the point, the point is there is someone who is going to be reborn and going to be the worst demon you've ever faced, worse then I've ever faced!"

Payton's eyes lit up. "How bad?"

"Payton Melinda Matthews!" She looked at her daughter. "Do not say that, this is serious."

"Woah mom, I'm sorry." Knowing Paige, Payton took her seriously. It wasn't a lot that Paige was serious about. She knew this from traveling in the past with her uncle Leo teaching her about orbing.

"Thank you. Do you remember Cole?" Her mom asked. "Yes?" Came a reply from Payton. "He was Phoebe's ex-husband, the Source of All Evil." She told her.

"Very good, but I heard his son Alex is the new heir of the throne. His mother is the one and only Seer."

"The Seer?!"

"Yes, but concintrate! His son is going to be joining, thing is he can shapeshift, he can be anyone, do you have any ideas?"

"None yet. But I will tell my fellow witches and keep a look out." She told her.

"Thanks Payton, I will be joining as a young witch to keep an eye on things but I can't stay long, duty calls. And I will tell Henry I've talked to you."

"Thanks mom!" With Payton's last word she orbed into the backyard.

"Everyone! Please listen! There is grave danger about, a shapeshifter will be joining, The Source of All Evil's heir is alive, he may be powerful enough to break through the barriers that don't allow evil into the manor, so please keep a look out!" She called around as gasps of horror was heard.
